This cuff combines embossed leather with polished and opulently patterned metal. Made by hand from brass and vegetable tanned leather, the cuff has a textured brass overlay which is plated with 18-carat gold. The asymmetric curves of the cuff are designed for comfort and ease of movement, making this substantial statement piece a pleasure to wear. Available in black or tan leather with a gold-plated overlay.
The ‘Skin’ collection is inspired by individuality. Sara uses hand-drawn patterns taken from skin textures on a microscopic scale to create opulent textures in metal and leather – celebrating the idea of beauty in imperfection and the flaws that develop through a life well lived.

Read moreSara Gunn is a London-based jewellery designer and finalist for New Designer of the Year in the 2015 UK Jewellery Awards. Sara graduated from the Sir John Cass School of Art and Design in 2012 with first-class honours and has worked from her studio at Cockpit Arts in Holborn since winning the 2013 Cockpit Arts/Clear Insurance Award.
Inspired by everything around her; from urban landscapes and the less glamorous side of city life to organic forms and the cells that make us who we are, Sara combines textured leather and metal to create tactile pieces that are at once gritty and sensual. She draws inspiration for her current collections from microscopic details within the body and London’s urban landscape. The texture characteristic of her jewellery is created through acid etching and embossing, using hand drawn and photographic images.
Each piece of jewellery is individually hand made by Sara. It is also possible to order colour variations or commission a unique piece.

Semi-circular stud earrings featuring patterns based on skin textures. Etched metal and embossed leather combine to create unique and beautifully textured pieces.
These earrings have a sterling silver post and butterfly and are plated with either sterling silver or 18 karats yellow gold. A dramatic slice of black vegetable-tanned leather runs through the center. The studs are lightweight and ideal for everyday wear.

SOUVENIR PYRAMID STUD EARRINGS

These large pyramid-shaped stud earrings are textured using photographs of London. Handmade from sterling silver, they are gold-plated to highlight the textures and are available in plain silver, gold plated and oxidized silver options.
The earrings are part of the ‘Souvenir’ collection, which combines urban textures and architectural shapes in a collection of earrings, pendants, rings, and cufflinks; all textured using photographs of London. Glimpses of Victorian terraces, glass and steel office buildings, graffiti and shop-fronts are etched into sterling silver to catch a brief moment in time – a souvenir of the fast-changing city landscape.
